In an effort to drive more sales through its indirect channels, SAP Canada Inc. (NYSE: SAP ) is looking to recruit new Extended Business Member (EBM) partners to its Extended Business program. Conrad Mandala , vice-president of SME for SAP Canada, said the company is in the process of transitioning away from a once primarily direct sales model to an indirect and multi-channel-driven one. "In Q4, 94 per cent of our overall sales (in the SME) will go through indirect sales," Mandala said.

The 20th Engineer Battalion honored those lost during the Nov. 5 shootings on Fort Hood during a memorial service at Palmer Theater Thursday. Aaron Nemelka and Pfc. Kham Xiong were killed when a gunman opened fire in the post Soldier Readiness Processing Center. Greene, Pearson and Nemelka were all combat engineers in the same platoon in the 510th Clearance Company and Xiong was a mechanic with the Forward Support Company.

Visitation will be held this afternoon for a Chicago soldier killed in the Fort Hood shooting. Francheska Velez, 21, was three months pregnant with her first child when she was killed on Nov. 5. Her body arrived on Monday and was escorted by Chicago Police and members of the patriot guard.  

The body of a 21-year-old Illinois soldier killed in the shooting rampage at Fort Hood earlier this month is back in her hometown of Chicago.  

Victims of the deadly mass shooting at Ft. Hood were laid to rest over the weekend.
